Emergency Water Main Repair Continues

The emergency repair to the primary water main affecting traffic at the southbound Circle Drive off-ramp from Taylor Street is ongoing. According to the city, the leak is on a primary water main and work isolating the issue is more complex than it is on the smaller water mains. Once the leak is detected and isolated the repair can occur. Some residents and businesses south of College Drive and east of the South Saskatchewan River may continue to experience reduced water pressure until the repair is completed.

Water quality is not affected; water is still safe to drink.

Residents and businesses in this area are asked to please avoid unnecessary water use, such as watering your lawn and washing your car until further notice. Daily activities, such as handwashing, bathing and appliances are allowed.
