Travel not recommended on highways around YXE

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways says travel is not recommended on several highways in and out of Saskatoon this morning. This is in the wake of a significant snow storm that hit large swathes of the province over the last 24 hours. The storm started with rain before switching to snow accompanied by high winds.

Just before 6 a.m. Wednesday, highways west and north of Saskatoon are marked as having winter conditions. Travel East and south of the city is still not recommended.

If you're travelling to Regina, keep in mind all highways around that city are currently closed. Please consult the Saskatchewan Highways Hotline for the latest conditions.
